Rogue Valley Local

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 16, 2026

This page explains what Rogue Valley Local collects when you use this site, what we do with it, and what we don't. If anything here is unclear, email us at Jeremiah@leadinglocal.co and we'll explain it in plain language.

Information we collect

The main thing we collect is what you send us through the claim form: your name, email address, phone number, and information about the business you're claiming or adding. We also keep basic server logs, standard stuff like your IP address, browser type, and the date and time you visited, the kind of information most web hosts log automatically.

How we use it

We use claim form submissions to review your claim, confirm you're connected to the business, and follow up if we have questions. Server logs are used to keep the site running and to catch abuse or spam. We don't use anything you send us for unrelated marketing.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to anyone. We don't share claim form details outside of Rogue Valley Local and LeadingLocal, the agency that runs this site, except when the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

Rogue Valley Local doesn't run Google Analytics or any other analytics script right now. The claim form uses Cloudflare's Turnstile spam check, which loads a Cloudflare script on that page and may set its own cookie. Beyond that, the only cookies in use are whatever our hosting provider sets to keep the site working. If we add analytics down the road, we'll update this section to name the tool and explain what it tracks.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The version posted here is always the current one, and we'll update the effective date above when it changes.
